United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development
USDA Rural Development helps rural areas to develop and grow by offering Federal assistance that improves quality of life. RD targets communities in need and then empowers them with financial and technical resources.
United States Economic Development Administration
The U.S. EDA works directly with communities and regions to help them build the capacity for economic development based on local business conditions and needs. EDA’s grant investments in planning, technical assistance, and infrastructure construction are designed to leverage existing regional assets to support the implementation of economic development strategies that make it easier for businesses to start and grow.
United States Small Business Administration
The U.S. SBA provides assistance an array of financing for small businesses from the smallest needs in microlending – to substantial debt and equity investment capital (venture capital). In addition, SBA provides entrepreneurial development through education, information, technical assistance and training; government contracting assistance; and acts as an advocate for small business before congress.
