Cumberland County Improvement Authority

The CCIA’s Mission includes the development, financing, and integration of projects, strategies and initiatives integral to the sustainability of the Economic and Environmental Future of Cumberland County and its municipalities.

Cumberland County Empowerment Zone

Since its inception in 1999, the Cumberland Empowerment Zone Corporation has helped attract more than $270 million in public and private funding By supporting local businesses and economic development projects directly with initial investments now surpassing more than $27 million, the Cumberland Empowerment Zone Corporation program continues to be recognized as one of the most successful Empowerment Zones in the nation.

South Jersey Economic Development District

Since its inception, the SJEDD has continually strived to work with participating communities in developing viable and creative projects that not only have a local benefit, but also have a positive impact on the overall economic environment of the area.Communities within the District work to present viable projects in anticipation of increasing private sector investments and creating new job opportunities.

Choose New Jersey

Choose New Jersey provides a variety of relocation and expansion services including customized RFI responses, demographics, detailed market assessments, and other complimentary business services.

New Jersey Economic Development Authority

The New Jersey EDA is an independent state agency that finances small and mid-sized businesses, administers tax incentives to retain and grow jobs, revitalizes communities through redevelopment initiatives, and supports entrepreneurial development by providing access to training and mentoring programs.

Southern New Jersey Development Council

The Southern New Jersey Development Council actively promotes initiatives and legislation that increase economic opportunity in South Jersey and supports project-specific activities that will create a positive impact to the region.

United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development

USDA Rural Development helps rural areas to develop and grow by offering Federal assistance that improves quality of life. RD targets communities in need and then empowers them with financial and technical resources.

United States Economic Development Administration

The U.S. EDA works directly with communities and regions to help them build the capacity for economic development based on local business conditions and needs. EDA’s grant investments in planning, technical assistance, and infrastructure construction are designed to leverage existing regional assets to support the implementation of economic development strategies that make it easier for businesses to start and grow.

United States Small Business Administration

The U.S. SBA provides assistance an array of financing for small businesses from the smallest needs in microlending – to substantial debt and equity investment capital (venture capital).  In addition, SBA provides entrepreneurial development through education, information, technical assistance and training; government contracting assistance; and acts as an advocate for small business before congress.
